Meth found in rolled vehicle, South Australia

Police uncovered a quantity of methamphetamine in a crashed vehicle at Yunta last night.

Patrols from Peterborough and Orroroo were tasked to a single vehicle rollover on the Barrier Highway just south of Yunta about 7.15pm on Friday 15 February.

The female driver was taken to the Peterborough Hospital for treatment, however, her condition is not life-threatening.

Police will allege they found approximately 250 grams of methamphetamine in the rolled vehicle.

The 28-year-old Mawson Lakes woman was arrested in hospital and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug. She was bailed to appear in the Peterborough Magistrates Court at a later date.

This was a fortuitous find, but anyone with information about the manufacture, sale or supply of illicit drugs can report it to police anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
