Police Coronial Investigation Section are seeking witnesses to an incident that occurred at Mettams Pool, North Beach this morning, 26 November 2016 at approximately 1030 am.
It is believed a male person in his thirties was located in the ocean and several persons assisted the person to shore and provided first aid until the arrival of emergency services. , WA Police say
As a result of the incident, a 35 year old man was conveyed by ambulance to hospital but unfortunately was not able to be revived and has passed away.
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, in particular the identity of the persons who assisted the male from the ocean and provided first aid and ask that anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
