Police have charged a woman following an attempted carjacking in Mildura early this morning.
It is alleged a woman approached another woman sitting in a car outside a residence on Ashwood Court and threatened her with a knife about 2.20am.
The 30-year-old woman of no fixed address has since been charged with attempted armed robbery, attempted carjacking, going equipped to steal, trespass, and other assault related offences.
The woman will appear at Mildura Magistrates' Court shortly.
The 26-year-old victim was uninjured as a result of the incident.
