National Defence
The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence, and Chief of the Defence Staff, General Wayne Eyre, will travel to Germany to meet with Allies and partners to discuss Russia's illegal full-scale invasion of Ukraine and coordinate military assistance to address Ukraine's current and long-term defence priorities.
On April 20, Minister Anand and General Eyre will visit Headquarters United States Army Europe and Africa in Wiesbaden. Following this, on April 21, they will head to Ramstein Air Base to participate in the eleventh meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, hosted by United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III.
