Minns Labor Boosts Record Investment in NSW Sport

The Minns Labor Government is continuing to deliver on its commitment to strengthen community sport, with applications now open for the 2026/27 $10 million Organisation Support Program.

The funding will help State Sporting Organisations and State Sporting Organisations for People with a Disability, support clubs and volunteers, grow participation, and deliver competitions and programs across NSW.

This year's Program includes an additional $7 million investment, bringing the Minns Labor Government's total support for NSW sports through the Program to $35 million since coming to office.

The funding will create more opportunities for everyone, from grassroots participants and volunteers to future Olympic, Paralympic, and national representatives.

Applications for the 2026/27 Organisation Support Program close on Monday, 7 September 2026.

Minister for Sport Steve Kamper said:

"Whether someone is playing at their local club, volunteering in their community or chasing their sporting dreams, this funding helps ensure there is a place for everyone in sport."
