The Government of Canada awards a $1.4 million repayable contribution to the Bas-Saint-Laurent region business

Miralis is a growing, innovative cutting-edge company that specializes in the creation of high-end kitchens and custom-made permanent furniture. In order to enhance its productivity, the company will benefit from a $1.4 million repayable contribution from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. Miralis will be able to acquire state-of-the-art and robotic equipment that will allow it to increase its production capacity and thus support its growth in Canada and the U.S.
The funding was announced today by the Rémi Massé, Member of Parliament for Avignon–La Mitis–Matane–Matapédia, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
Specifically, the Government of Canada funding will help speed up the integration of robotization and automation within Miralis, thus enabling the company to better meet the growing need. The project will also create 25 jobs in the Rimouski-Neigette RCM.
Founded in 1976, Miralis is a Quebec company whose reputation as a kitchen designer was built on the company's pioneering vision and the quality of its products. These green, eco-friendly products are sold at some 125 points of sale across Quebec and Ontario and in the U.S. Miralis has also made it its mission to be a leader in its field in terms of the innovative way it does business, as evidenced by its ultramodern 125,000 square foot facilities.
