A woman missing from the St George area has been located deceased, NSW Police say.
The 78-year-old woman went missing about 3am yesterday after she left her home in Merriman Street.
The woman’s family contacted officers attached to St George Local Area Command when she failed to return home and could not be contacted.
Following extensive searches of the area, the woman’s body was located in the water at Kyle Bay today.
Initial inquiries have led police to believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
