Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 12-year-old girl from the Deception Bay area.
The girl was last seen around 9.30am today (November 9) at Old Bay Road, at Deception Bay.
Police and family hold concerns for her safety and wellbeing due to her young age and this being out of character.
She is described as Caucasian, approximately 160cms tall with a fair complexion, thin build, brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue school shirt, black tights and a pink Nike backpack.
Police are appealing for the girl, or anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts, to contact them.
