Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 15-year-old boy reported missing from Ayr earlier this morning.
The teenager was last seen leaving a residence on Elizabeth Street around 5am this morning.
Police and family hold serious concerns for his safety as his disappearance is out of character.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 160cm tall, of a slim build with dark curly hair.
It is believed he may be in the vicinity of Ayr or Bowen.
Police are appealing to the teenager, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, to come forward.
