Tasmania Police hold serious concerns for the welfare of missing South Australian man, Roger BERRY. Mr BERRY was last seen in the Liffey Falls area yesterday around 1pm.
Police were notified about 5.30pm last night and have been searching for the man on foot overnight. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter is currently being deployed to the scene to help with search operations.
Mr BERRY travelled to Liffey Falls in a Mitsubishi Outlander rental car with his wife where he walked the track near the falls on his own. Mr BERRY may have been looking for a lost wallet.
Mr BERRY is 74 years of age and was wearing blue jeans and a black jumper. He is described as having a slim build, grey receding hair and is approximately 178cm tall.
