Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 79-year-old Anne Cameron who was last seen in Craiglie (near Port Douglas) yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Ms Cameron- who is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cms tall with a slim build and short grey hair- was last seen walking in Martin Scullett Drive around 3.30pm.
Ms Cameron may possibly be wearing a light/white coloured shirt and long pants, a hat and possibly carrying a walking stick.
Police and SES are currently searching the area in which Ms Cameron was last seen with police appealing for local residents to check their yards and properties including sheds.
Anyone who may have seen Ms Cameron, or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts is urged to contact police.
