Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing boy Jeremiah Montgomery.
The 10-year-old was last seen at his residence in Flemington today just before 3pm and is likely to be with his mother.
He is described as 140cm tall with black short curly hair, brown eyes and a slim build and was wearing shorts, t-shirt and sneakers.
The pair may be in the Fitzroy, Carlton or Frankston areas.
Police have released an image of Jeremiah in the hope that someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Jeremiah is asked to contact Flemington Police Station on 9371 6100.
