The body of a teenager who was reported missing from Sydney's north has been located.
The boy, aged 15, was last seen at a shop on Barrenjoey Road, Newport about 5:30pm yesterday (Thursday 24 January 2019).
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command conducted an extensive search.
He was located deceased at Bilgola Beach just before 9am today (Friday 25 January 2019).
Police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, however initial inquiries suggest it is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
