Two children reported missing from Armidale yesterday, have now been located safe and well at Tamworth.
The 12-year-old girl and nine-year-old boy were last seen at 4pm yesterday (Saturday 15 May 2021) at a sports and recreation centre on Mann Street, Armidale.
Officers from New England Police District were notified when they could not be located and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the two children were located safe and well at a Tamworth home about 9.30am today (Sunday 16 May 2021).
