Missing elderly man, Herston

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 73-year-old Raymond Parsons, who went missing from Herston this afternoon.

Raymond was last seen walking on Butterfield Street, near the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, at around 2pm today.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare given his age and some underlying health conditions.

He is described as 172cm in height, slim build, of Caucasian appearance, with white hair and beard.

Raymond was wearing a grey fleece jacket with black panels under the arms and long, dark coloured, pants.

Police are urging Raymond, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, to contact them immediately.
