Missing girls, Griffin

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate three girls missing from Griffith today, Wednesday March 1.

Two girls aged 14 and a 12 year-old girl failed to attend their Murrumba Downs school and none have been in contact with family or friends, which is out of character.

The trio were last seen around 7.30am on foot near Magenta Street and Mint Crescent.

The girls were dressed in their school uniforms, including maroon polos with yellow and navy trim and black shorts.

All of the girls are Caucasian in appearance with long brown hair and are around 160cm tall with slim builds.

The girls are believed to have used public transport to access the Gold Coast and may have changed their clothing.

Police are appealing for the girls or anyone with information on their whereabouts to contact them.
