An elderly man missing in the state's far north has been found safe and well.
The 78-year-old man had been missing since about 6.10pm last night (Saturday 12 December 2020), when he was seen walking through a rural property near Lightning Ridge.
He was located about 10.15am today (Sunday 13 December 2020), in bushland, not far from where he was last seen in Lightning Ridge.
Police wish to thank the community and media for their assistance.
