A man reported missing from the Sydney's west has been located safe and well.
The 74-year-old man left an Auburn home just before 11am yesterday (Tuesday 7 March 2023) and travelled to Parramatta by public transport, where he was last seen leaving a church on Macquarie Street, Parramatta about 1pm.
When he failed to return home, officers from Auburn Police Area Commend were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquires, the man was located safe and well in Auburn this morning (Wednesday 8 March 2023).
Police would like to thank the public and the media for its assistance.
