Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Gholam.
The 84-year-old was last seen in St Albans about midday today and is known to frequent the St Albans mosque and railway station.
He is described as 165cm tall with a medium build, short grey hair, has a lump on his forehead and is wearing green track pants, brown shoes, grey t-shirt and a brown jacket.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he has dementia and does not speak English.
Anyone who sights Gholam is urged to contact Keilor Downs Police Station on 9365 3333.
