Good news! An elderly man missing from Fairfield has been located safe and well.
The 82-year-old was last seen at a nursing home on Runcorn Street, St John's Park about 11.30am this morning (Saturday 10 December 2022).
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following a public appeal and a geo-targeting alert sent to the Fairfield area, the man was found by a member of the public who received the alert and took the man to Wetherill Park Police Station about 3.00pm today.
