Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Thayaparan Kanapathipillai.
The 34-year-old was last seen on Cherry Grove in Doveton about 3pm today.
He was wearing a black Adidas t-shirt, black pants and black Adidas shoes.
Thayaparan is described as 175cm tall with a large build, short black hair and facial stubble.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he has an intellectual disability and has memory loss.
Investigators have released an image of Thayaparan in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Thayaparan is urged to contact Dandenong Police Station on 9767 7444.
