Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old missing from Boronia Heights.
She was last seen near Wild Street around 3.30pm and has not contacted family since.
She was last seen wearing her green school uniform and is described as Caucasian, 170cm tall, solid build with brown hair and brown eyes.
Investigators are appealing for the girl or anyone with further information to contact police.
