Missing woman Alexandra

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 62-year-old woman Alexandra.

She was last seen on Skerne Street in Newtown about 10.15am on Thursday, 12 May.

There was also a possible sighting at Footscray train station, where a woman matching her description got on a city bound train.

Police and family have concerns for Alexandra's welfare as she has dementia.

Alexandra is about 170cm tall with blonde shoulder length hair which is likely to be tied in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a white jumper, black pants and orange shoes.

Police have released an image of Alexandra and urge anyone who sights her to call Triple Zero (000).
