Missing woman Shirley Hankins

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing 71-year-old Shirley Hankins.

Shirley left a Fitzroy hospital on Victoria Parade and was last seen at Parliament House in East Melbourne on 5 December at 2.20pm.

It is believed she may be in the Fitzroy or Kew area.

Police have concerns for her welfare due to her age and a medical condition in which she requires medication.

She was last seen wearing a light purple jumper, a leopard print shirt, long black pants and a moon boot on her right leg.

Investigators have released an image of Shirley in the hope that someone may recognise her or have information on her current whereabouts.
