Mitta Mitta Flow Advice 26 February

MDBA

Landholders and river users, including pumpers, on the Mitta Mitta River are advised to take into account the forecast releases of water from Dartmouth Dam and make any necessary adjustment to their river activities.

Into March continued transfers are required from Dartmouth Dam to Hume Dam, which will see two pulses across the month.

Releases from Dartmouth (measured at Coleman's gauge) are currently near 6,300 ML/day. The first pulse is planned to commence on 1st March until reaching the target flow rate of approximately 8,400 ML/day for several days before receding to approximately 6,000 ML/day between 6-9th March.
