Modelling released for Australia's Long-Term Emissions Reduction Plan

The Australian Government has released the economic modelling that underpins Australia's Long-Term Emissions Reduction Plan. The Plan is our pathway to net zero emissions by 2050.

The report outlines the methods, assumptions and results from the economic modelling conducted by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources. The modelling includes supplementary analysis commissioned from McKinsey & Company and the department's Office of the Chief Economist.

This modelling informed the government as it developed the Long-Term Emissions Reduction Plan.
