The Southern Terrace toilet facility upgrade on Dendy Street Beach is complete just in time for the warmer weather.
Set among the iconic Brighton Bathing Boxes, the new facility includes 8 toilets incorporating an accessible toilet, and a mix of female, male, and all gender cubicles.
The much-needed upgrade provides Bay Trail users and Dendy Beach visitors a more modern, inclusive and accessible facility.
The renewal includes external handwashing facilities and showers, water taps with drink bottle filler, new seating areas and bike racks, improved lighting with sensors, and landscaping to compliment the surrounding environment.
The upgrade aligns with the Bayside Public Toilet Strategy, the 2024/25 Annual Budget and the Dendy Street Beach Masterplan
