Red Cross and Uber will hold a Donation Day on Saturday 18 October.
The community are invited to 'donate from their doorstep' by packaging up their good quality pre-loved clothing and accessories for collection.
From the comfort of your home, simply book 'Red Cross Clothing Drive' as your destination via the Uber app where items are then collected and taken to the Mount Waverley Car Park for sorting.
Council is proud to once again provide the Mount Waverley Car Park for sorting; the fourth year the donation day has utilised this space.
Donations are provided to Red Cross shops and funds raised go on to help Red Cross support Australians facing hardship, crisis or disaster.
You also help save the planet by reducing what we send to landfill, an estimated 14 tonnes to date from the Mount Waverley site alone.
This year, Red Cross and Uber are also looking for volunteers who are interested in helping on the day.
