Motorcycle rider dies after crash - Granville

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Sydney's south-west.

Shortly after 6pm yesterday (Saturday 19 August 2023), emergency services responded to reports that a motorcycle had collided with two parked cars along Good Street, Granville.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 23-year-old male rider at the scene before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition where he later died.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation where a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash – or has any available dashcam footage – to contact Granville Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
