A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after a collision involving an SUV in Sydney's west this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Rooty Hill Road North about 3.20pm (Saturday 21 March 2026), when the westbound motorcycle and an SUV collided at the intersection with Adna Street at Plumpton.
A 34-year-old man riding the motorcycle suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
A 37-year-old woman driving the SUV has been taken to the same hospital to be checked as a precaution and to undergo mandatory testing. Three children in the vehicle at the time were shaken but uninjured.
