Officers from Sydney City Police area Command have established a crime scene at Ultimo following a fatal collision.
The crash happened today at 2.40pm (Thursday 27 February 2020), when the rider of a motor cycle was struck by a white truck on Abecrombie Street at Ultimo.
The truck failed to stop after the collision.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at hospital.
The circumstances of the collision are still being investigated.
Traffic diversions are in place and motorists are requested to avoid the area.
