Motorcyclist dies after crash at Lonsdale, South Australia

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a truck at Lonsdale earlier this week.

About 2.15pm on Tuesday 13 August, a truck and a motorcycle collided on Sherriffs Road near the Southern Expressway.

The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man from Hackham West was treated at the scene by ambulance officers, before being rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre. Early this morning he succumbed to his injuries.

There have been 74 deaths on our roads compared with 45 at the same time last year.
