Detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Broadmeadows this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Pascoe Vale Road near Barry Road about 4pm after reports a motorcycle and car had collided.
A male motorcycle rider died at the scene.
The female driver of the car, a 27-year-old woman from Tarneit, is currently assisting police with their enquires.
