Motorcyclist dies after crash near Bellingen, NSW

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a motorcyclist south of Coffs Harbour this evening, NSW Police say.

About 6.20pm today, emergency services were called to Waterfall Way, Fernmount, about 15km east of Bellingen, following reports of a collision between a car and motorcycle.

The rider, a 21-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a man believed to be in his 20s, was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

A second driver, a man in his 20s, is also assisting police with their inquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
