Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Mentone on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to a collision between a motorcycle and car near the intersection of Warrigal Road and Savona Street about 10.55am on 13 December.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 63-year-old man from Mentone, was taken to hospital where he later died.
The driver of the car, a 34-year-old man from Brighton East, stopped at the scene at the time of the incident.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
