Motorcyclist dies crash in Sydney's north

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Sydney's north yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway about 12.30pm (Saturday 22 July 2023), after a southbound motorcyclist and a northbound car collided in the northbound lanes between Cowan and Brooklyn.

The 24-year-old man riding the motorcycle was rendered first aid by a passing motorist until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; however, he died at the scene.

A 61-year-old woman driving the car was taken to Hornsby Hospital to be treated for minor injuries as well as undergoing mandatory testing.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
