A man has died in hospital after he came off his motorcycle in Alexandra yesterday, Victoria Police say.
The incident happened at the intersection of Grant and Downey streets when the rider, who was travelling through the intersection, clipped a gutter and came off his bike just before 5pm.
The rider, a 44-year-old local man, was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital but died shortly after arrival.
Mansfield Highway Patrol officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
