Motorcyclist dies following crash, NSW

A man has died following a motorcycle crash in Northern New South Wales yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 11am (26 June 2106), a motorcycle was travelling in a southerly direction on Paddys Flat Road, Paddys Flat, on an unsealed dirt road.

It appears the rider has collided with a Toyota Landcruiser travelling north along the same road.

A number of people rendered assistance until the arrival of ambulance paramedics.

The 44-year-old man from Albany Creek, Queensland, died while being transported to the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter.

A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.

A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
