One Mount Isa workplace is about to wave goodbye to a staff member after a local man snagged a life-enhancing $2 million in the weekend's Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The Queenslander held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4641, drawn Saturday 10 January 2026. Each entry pocketed a neat $2 million.
The winning man found it hard to believe he'd landed a multi-million-dollar win, admitting he was half convinced someone was pulling his leg.
