MPs to Hear Party Positions on Rural Health

MPs and the rural health sector are coming together to hear the major political parties' position on key rural health issues and policies.

A group of panelists - including the Health Minister, The Hon Greg Hunt; Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care, and Minister for Indigenous Health, The Hon Ken Wyatt; Labor Rural Health Spokesperson, Tony Zappia; and Greens' Leader, Senator Richard di Natale - will discuss a range of rural health issues at a Forum to be conducted by the National Rural Health Alliance.
The Forum will be held at the Parliament House Theatre from 10.30am to 11.30am on Wednesday, 13 February 2019 and will be introduced by Co-Chairs of the Parliamentary Friends of Rural and Remote Health, the Hon Warren Snowdon and the Hon Warren Entsch.
Panellists will speak to a number of issues raised by the Alliance, including access to rural health services and the need for research into rural health.
