Multiple Injured After Bus Crash - Macquarie Park

Several people have been injured following a multi vehicle crash involving a bus in Macquarie Park this afternoon.

About 3.30pm (Sunday 21 September 2025), emergency services were called to the M2 Motorway near Khartoum Road, Macquarie Park, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command arrived to find a bus had collided with the rear of SUV.

The driver and three passengers of the SUV were all treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in stable condition.

Seven passengers on the bus were also treated for injuries before all being taken to hospital for assessment.

The driver of the bus – a 40-year-old man – was freed by Fire and Rescue NSW before also being treated at the scene and taken to hospital for further treatment.

Police have been told none of the injuries are life threatening and officers are investigating the cause of the crash.

Motorist are urged to avoid the area as emergency services work to clear the debris.
