Music Festival Keeps On Entertaining In 2026

Tasmanian Government

The Tasmanian Government is backing in Party in the Paddock's future at Quercus Park.

In addition to a stellar musical line up announced by Party in the Paddock, Minister for Tourism, Hospitality and Events, Jane Howlett announced the Government is delivering on its election commitment to secure the festival for 2026 and 2027.

Minister Howlett congratulated the organisers on locking in a mix of international and local acts for the state's premier music festival including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Veronicas, Sofi Tukker and Peking Duk.

"Events like Party in the Paddock showcase local talent and vendors, but they also bring international artists to Tasmania, which means locals can see the acts they love here," Minister Howlett said.

"Last year's event attracted more than 12,000 festival goers, with more than 10 per cent of those attending coming from interstate and overseas.

"The flow on effect included about 500 people staying in paid accommodation, with an average night stay of 9.8 days.

"Our Government is delivering for Tasmania by investing $1.5 million into Party in the Paddock to secure the event until 2027."

Vibestown director, Ryan Limb, said Party in the Paddock brings thousands of people to the North from across Tasmania.

"Government support is critical to keeping the music and arts alive, especially in regional areas, and we are grateful to have that ongoing support," he said.

"We're proud to see Tasmania championing live music and the arts when it matters most."

Party in the Paddock 2026's monumental line up is headlined by Ocean Alley, Sophie Ellis-Bextor (UK), The Veronicas, Sofi Tukker (USA), The Temper Trap, Flight Facilities, Peking Duk, Ball Park Music and many more.
