Headline act Zindzi and the Zillionaires and the debut of Rum'un, the Tasmania Football Club's cheeky devil mascot, has brought thousands to Hobart's CBD to watch the 43rd Myer City of Hobart Christmas Pageant.

This year the City used it's 'smart city technology' and drone cameras to estimate crowd figures and have the figures at approximately 30-35,000 attendees.

Pageant crowds watched ABC personality and Kids music favourites Zindzi and the Zillionaires and Rum'un in the parade for the first time, along with all the usual much-loved performance groups, sporting clubs, multicultural organisations, community groups and marching bands.

It was tough work for the judges - Hobart Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds, Myer Hobart Store Manager Kathy Kelly, Hobart Children's Mayor Noah Dobson (Lenah Valley Primary School) to pick the winners from the 50 floats entered in this year's pageant.

However, after much deliberation the winners and runners-up have been decided.
