Police can now name the two people who died in a crash on Dyers Pass Road on 3 November.
They were 40-year-old Christchurch man Aaron David Sadler and 23-year-old Selwyn man Mitchell Rutter.
Police extend their sympathies to the families and friends of the men at this time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
