One person has died following a crash in Whakatāne on Thursday 16 July.
At around 9:30pm, Police were called to the single vehicle crash on Troutbeck Road, Galatea.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was sadly located deceased. He was 20-year-old Sean Raymond Bridgeman.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
