How can you tell your story
You can tell your story by completing the online survey or sending in a submission. Submissions and the survey close 5.00pm AEST 3 December 2018. You can also come to a meeting in your state or territory.
What will be the outcome of this consultation?
Your views will help us collect ideas on what enables people to engage with the arts, what are the barriers to arts engagement, what are some examples of best practice and what needs to happen in the future.
It’s important to hear the views of as many people as possible, including people with disability, arts and disability organisations, carers, families, and anyone with ideas on how to improve access to and participation in creative and cultural activities by people with disability.
The consultation period commences on 24 September 2018 and ends on 3 December 2018, International Day of Persons with Disabilities. You can complete the survey or make a submission, or attend a meeting. Submissions can be written, recorded or provided over the phone to a team member at the Department of Communications and the Arts.
