To monitor progress in digital development and support the formulation of evidence-based strategies and action plans, ESCWA organized a foundational capacity-building workshop on national digital development reviews and data collection.
The workshop, held at the UN House in Beirut on 11 and 12 August, featured a presentation on the Arab Digital Agenda (ADD) and digital development reviews, an overview of the methodology adopted for data and information collection, as well as discussions on national reviews, reports, and digital agendas.
It also addressed the timeline for data collection and the preparation of national reports and included a presentation of the updated guideline to use in data collection and national report preparation, along with an explanation of its components.
