National Rugby League Fan Fest

Sydney's Martin Place will be transformed into a footy festival ahead of the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final 2019.

The NRL announced today that it would create NRL Fan Fest over three days in Grand Final Week in the central Sydney area.

Fans and Members of all Clubs will be encouraged to be part of a range of activations and initiatives for all ages.

"NRL Fan Fest is all about celebrating our fans, their clubs and our players - and bringing them closer to the game than they ever have been before," NRL Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Abdo said.

"Grand Final Week is more than just about the matches on Sunday. It is about a celebration of Rugby League and the culmination of a wonderful season.

"NRL Fan Fest is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to be a part of our Grand Final celebrations."

The NRL Fan Fest, which will run from Wednesday, October 2 until Friday, October 4, will feature:

  • An Immersion Zone which allows fans to dive for a try, play video games and try out the NRL's new school holiday program League Stars
  • Meet and greets and stage Q and As with NRL players - as well as the presentation of the full teams involved in both the men's and women's Grand Finals, and retiring players
  • A Family zone area including coffee kart, colouring-in and board games alongside a range of other activities

The site will also be close to the venue for the traditional Grand Final lunch, on Friday, October 4, at the Westin.

Tickets for the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final 2019 are now on sale to the General Public.

Tickets are available from $80 for adults, $65 for concessions/juniors and $225 for families.

Ticket options will once again include a Family Fun Zone for the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final 2019. For $295, families can sit in a zoned family area, and will receive an exclusive family show bag.

The NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final 2019 is supported by the NSW Government, through its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.

Tickets will be available through Ticketek and nrl.com/tickets.
