The Nature Repair Committee is seeking feedback on the next method for the Nature Repair Market.
About the draft method
The committee wants your views. They want to know whether the proposed Enhancing Native Vegetation method meets the biodiversity integrity standards. The method would support projects in Australia's productive and historically cleared areas. Projects under the method could:
- restore native vegetation by revegetation and regeneration
- enhance the condition of remnant vegetation
- maintain the condition of existing remnant vegetation
The draft method draws on previous consultation, including the department-led consultation in October 2025.
The Nature Repair Market is a national biodiversity market. It aims to:
- deliver high-integrity biodiversity outcomes
- attract increased investment in nature restoration and protection.
The Nature Repair Committee is an independent advisory body. It supports the integrity of the market.
Have your say
