Naturelinks Thrives on Community-Focused Business

When you walk through one of the Peninsula's bushland reserves, you might not see the team that helped make it possible, but their work is everywhere.

Working across more than 150 bushland reserves and roadside corridors, Naturelinks is out there every day restoring and protecting our natural environment. It's hands-on work: removing invasive weeds, encouraging native plants to regenerate and managing fuel loads to reduce fire risk while still protecting biodiversity.

But their impact doesn't stop there.

For over two decades, Naturelinks has built strong connections with local businesses, many just around the corner from their Mornington base. From suppliers to service providers, they've intentionally kept things local: supporting jobs, strengthening small businesses, and keeping investment within the community.

It's a simple idea, done well.

"Doing business for good" can sound like a buzzword, but here it's practical. It's choosing to work with businesses that share similar values. It's reducing travel and emissions by sourcing locally. It's making decisions that consider people, place and long-term impact, not just the bottom line.

Twenty years of relationships. A community they've grown alongside. And land that's a lot healthier for it.
